Recently, Shanghai Sunway Law Firm led by its founder and managing partner Dr. Xiaoli Hong, meets with the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Shanghai. The delegation held a cordial and constructive discussion with Consul General Shahzad Ahmad Khan and other representatives, focusing on key sectors for China-Pakistan cooperation, investment opportunities, and cultural exchange. The meeting concluded on a productive note, with both parties reaching a shared commitment to establishing a regular, institutionalised channel for ongoing communication.

Consul General Shahzad Ahmad Khan expressed his attention on China's 15th Five-Year Plan, particularly in the areas of green energy, high technology, and innovation.  He spoke highly of the capabilities of China's supply chain ecosystem, noting their ability to respond efficiently to market demands and their outstanding overall capabilities.

During the meeting, Sunway representatives introduced the firm's core philosophy of "Legal Trust First" and highlighted its approach beyond traditional legal services. He also highlighted several upcoming investment and industry-focused events over the next few months and extended a warm invitation to Sunway to leverage its industrial ecosystem and help promote more efficient industrial linkages and cooperation between Chinese and Pakistani enterprises.

Following the meeting, Dr. Hong presented Consul General with a gift representing Dunhuang culture, symbolizing a shared commitment to fostering long-term cooperation across diverse areas.
